MICHAEL JOHN EVANS BIO

Michael John Evans is a filmmaker, writer, and illustrator.

For over a decade, Michael has sucessfully worked as a multi-disciplined art director and commercial artist. Michael has been fortunate to work with and for a wide range of interesting and talented people and has built an impressive client list.

With an autodidactic approach and a passion for craft, Michael has shifted his focus from the static image towards film. At present, he is writing and developing multiple projects with the intent to direct full length features.

His short film "Naturally Risen" about acclaimed pizzaiolo Anthony Mangieri, won the 2010 New York Food Film Festival, for best super short.

In 2010 Michael moved from New York City to San Francisco where he is currently living with his girlfriend Tracy and border collie Bixby.
